20/06/08 - UFC News: UK October show confirmed
The UFC will be staging it's next British event in Birmingham on Saturday October 18th, it has been officially confirmed.
UFC executive Marc Ratner made the announcement on Thursday evening when he appeared on the Setanta News Ultimate Talk Show.
Rumours that the UFC would hit Birmingham in October had been widely circulated in recent days.
British welterweight Dan Hardy, the latest UK fighter to be signed to the UFC, may make his debut at the event.
It has also been rumoured that Michael Bisping and Chris Leben will fight on the show.
Setanta is a British cable network that has the exclusive rights to UFC broadcasts in the UK
The Ultimate Talk Show broadcasts every Thursday at 19.20 GMT (repeated at 21:20GMT).
