30/07/10 - UFC confirms London Fan Expo
The UFC has confirmed that it will be staging its first-ever European fan expo over the UFC 120 weekend in October. The event will take place in London, England and will span Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th, with UFC 120 taking place on the Saturday evening.
“I am excited to bring a UFC Fan Expo to our incredible fans in Europe,” said UFC president Dana White. “People have been asking me about an International Expo ever since we held our first one at UFC 100, and now they have it - they’re getting two days of the best fan experience in all of sports, and on top of that an incredible fight card featuring Michael Bisping vs. Akiyama.”
UFC Fan Expo London is expected to attract over 100 leading vendors covering roughly 20,000 gross square meters of space. In addition to training seminars and autograph and Q&A sessions with the world’s best fighters, the exp will feature a variety of offerings such as apparel, electronic gaming, food & beverages, fight gear, fitness equipment and supplies, nutritional supplements, lifestyle products and much more.
