01/12/09 - Matt Hughes fights on April 10th
Matt Hughes’s next fight may take place on April 10th, the former welterweight champion has revealed via his personal website.
“I have a possible date for my next fight, they tell me that it is April 10th. I’ll tell you later who and where when I find out for sure if it is confirmed,” he wrote.
Rumour has it that April 10th will be a show in London, England - where Hughes has fought before - and may be numbered UFC 112.
Hughes’ last fight was a decision win over Matt Serra in May this year, which snapped a two-fight losing streak for Hughes.
It has long been speculated that Hughes will be getting a third match with Dennis Hallman at some point in the near future. Hallman holds two quick wins over Hughes from early in their careers and Hughes is desperate to avenge them.
