12/10/08 - Reljic out of UFC 90
Undefeated Croatian middleweight Goran Reljic (8-0) will not be competing at UFC 90 after suffering an injury during training, Fighters Only has been told.
Reljic was due to face Brazilian middleweight Thales Leites (13-1), who beat Nathan Marquardt at UFC 85.
Leites (pictured, right) says he now expects to face American fighter Drew McFedries (7-4), who trains at Miletich Fighting Systems.
McFedries, who appeared on series seven of The Ultimate Fighter, last fought at UFC Fight Night 15, when he was defeated by Mike Massenzio.
Reljic's management say the injury is muscular and affecting his lower back. Further medical tests are being undertaken to determine the exact nature of the problem.
